i live like 5min from mt warning and it has been raining all day. even if tomorrow and fri r fine it will be very very wet. last time i climbed it, it had been fine weather for ages but still was wet up there.
I nearly died after climbing it so i would give it a miss if ur worried

personally, i don't think you should do it. ring her and tell her you got drunk the night before and have a hangover ha, should throw her right of track! and give you a good excuse!

Thanks for your opinions and advice everyone. I had a good laugh at the suggestion of telling my SIL I had a hangover ! Instead I told her I had a cold and wasn't up to tackling Mt Warning so we went for a much more gentle bushwalk up Mt Tamborine instead (which was beautiful).
