Tell them you've got the worst diarrhea ever, some kind of parasite they think. Dairy and alcohol make it worse. No one will question that! And it isn't all a fib.

with the wine, you could say you have to stay away from alcohol pending tests on your kidneys? (just might need to "play" on kidney region pains every now n then)
