Options to treat a painful neck/shoulder in the 1st Tri

I am 12 wks tomorrow and have had a sore neck/shoulders and now back for some weeks which has gradually gotten worse.

This is an ongoing problem I have and I would normally have a massage or go to the Osteo and it would be fixed, until the next time.

Today I have gotten a fairly large headache from this an my right arm is getting really difficult to use without it hurting.

What can I do to ease some of the pain??

Have your tried maybe using deep heat, a wheatbag etc?

Are you an active person? Is it from overuse? What aggravates it?

If not, maybe by strengthening the muscles will prevent it from recurring? Swimming, light weights, pilates / yoga type classes (you can also try pregnant versions of those classes too).

Go and see your osteo. Is there some reason that you are not doing that? Osteo is safe during pregnancy, just tell them you are pregnant. The aches and pains just get worse as you get bigger so you should get it seen to now.

Seeing your osteo is perfectly safe during pregnancy. I went throughout the last 2 pregnancies as I had really bad sciatic pain. Hope you feel better soon.
