I too had sneezing which I found quite funny... Think it stopped at around 10 weeks, so stock up on some tissues!

I'd go to the doctors as soon as you can, especially if you are thinking you want to go private. In Melbourne (not sure about elsewhere) a lot of the good OB's and hospitals are fully booked as soon as 6 weeks, so you want to get a referral as soon as you can and lock in your place.

I went to my GP a few days after we found out at 5 weeks. She didn't do any tests (not even a blood test), just gave me info on how to look after myself and the referral to the OB. At the time I wondered why she was doing the bloods, but in hindsight I have seen so many women stress over their hormone levels in the early weeks that I am glad I didn't have them... After all, what will be, will be...

    Good Luck!!!

LJ - Congrats hun again. I went to the DR's as soon as I had a positive HPT with all of my pgcys. The sooner the DR's know the better , just my opinion. I dont think it is really ever too early. If you want as well they can even get you prepared for any early u/s you may want to do, such as a dating scan to check your dates. It is entirely up to you, and remember it is your body hunni. All your symptoms are wonderful hun. Enjoy your pgcy. hugs

thanks everyone. Only a quick message from me because i'm on my phone. Cramps seem to be coming and going, but not as intense as before. Af due yesterday and she didn't show, so that's a good sign. Getting a weird feeling on my rhs of my tummy, like a pulling sensation. Still sneezing, and also getting stitch like cramps under my rhs of my ribs... Things that are normal i'm guessing

    Hey LJ

Congrats on the pregnancy! and all your symptoms sound perfectly normal. I'm now at 18 weeks and still get the occasional cramps, lots of sneezing (which then causes cramps) and my nose stuffs up in the evening every evening!

My Dr and midwife said the cramps are fine and normal as long as there is no bleeding with them.

Good luck and I hope you have a happy & healthy pregnancy!

It really sucks, because now all I can think about is 'What if it's ectopic?'
The bad thing is, I keep thinking it's going to happen, so I've stupidly been doing research. There was one symptom that made me wonder if it already is or not... One-sided pain in the lower abdomen that is severe and persistent is a common symptom. If you experience this and you could possibly be pregnant, you should see a doctor.

It's not severe, and it's not in the lower abdomen, but it is near the pelvic area which is really worrying me. I'm getting dull aching on my right side and it's very very worrying.. I know I shouldn't worry and should just be enjoying it, but I can't help but feel like it shouldn't be like this

Hun all the way through so far I tend to usually get pains on the right, because that is where she has implanted. If you are really worried ask for a dating and viability scan, just so you can put your mind at ease.

Right from conception hun She just seems to dig in there. But do get an early scan to put your mind at ease, I know it really does help.

CONGRATULATIONS LIZJESSIE - looks like this little one just waited until Mummy & Daddy tied the knot first - how cute

I think you are going great - with my pregnancy I had heaps of cramps and stretching type pains in the early weeks and even at week five a spot of brown discharge which freaked me out I thought oh no things are not good.

But here I am with a gorgeous 8 week old baby boy.
Try to relax and get yourself to your doctor and have a list of questions written down - cause you always forget to ask something when you go in - I do anyway!!

Again congratulations - happy for you and congrats on your marriage too

I'm getting nervous because I've had a few symptoms die down... I'm still sensitive to smell, but not as bad as I was before, I'm not feeling sick very much anymore and the cramps have died down (thank goodness for that one!)
I'm such a worry wart! Just bring Friday on already!
