Hey Erin,

Congrats on your pregnancy!! I had bleeding between 5-6 wks it was hours after we'd had sex (gentle too), then had brown for 3 days afterwards. My GP said that in some people, sex can cause bleeding.

I hope everything is a ok and your scan will be comforting sending to you

Hi Erin

I am in the same boat as you. I had some bleeding (old blood tho) last Thursday, however it stopped the same day. I phoned the midwife and they said to see what happens over the weekend, and then get an ultrasound this coming week. I haven't had any bleeding since then, so hopefully it is just a one-off bleed and not a miscarriage. The only way to know for sure is to get the ultrasound to see what is going on.

Hopefully if there is no more bleeding it is a good sign.

missy great news, i am so pleased for you, good news all round, how lucky are we!

i am five weeks and four days they said. the heart beat was 126 bpm which i am told is normal, yah ! i feel so relieved, doc said to keep my feet up as much as possible, thinks it was a tear in the lining of my uterus that was not attached to my placenta? caused from over doing it were his words, hah! i have been ordered by doc and hubby to bed rest, hubby has been doing dishes and dinner how lucky am i ! lol
