Oh it's awwwwwwwful *yuck yuck yuck* I can't stand the smell of smoke anywhere near me and now that I'm pregnant, it is even WORSE!!! Yuck!!!! It's filthy...... and I too, worry about the effects on my bubs, especially when I have to walk straight past a whole heap of smokers outside the shopping mall entrance as they are standing too close to the door!!! grrrr that really angers me.

But as for the smell, nope that's not passive smoking but iykwim hun it's still yuck but i'd imagine pretty harmless.....

We have a couple of people who smoke outside our work building here and they don't stand the 4metres distance away they are meant to and even if they do, i still smell it, it really makes me nauseous.

Thanks for your replies. I feel better about it now (but still can't stand the smell!)

I cant stand the smell either, maybe you could politely point out that while you dont care if he smokes you do care that the smell is making you feel awful and would he mind washing his hands and maybe spraying some form of deoderiser around after he steps out for a smoke???

I would do it, while its not passive smoking it is making you feel sick and thats not a good thing.

I work near a major shopping centre and visit there most days, i have to hold my breath when i walk past all the smokers grouped right outside the front door............yuck
