I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and so far have had no issues. Yesterday I noticed some pink tinged discharge, very light pink but clearly mildly blood stained. Next time I went to the toilet a short while later it had gone and has been clear since. I have been meticulously checking but all fine, no tummy pain or other symptoms. Anybody else had experience of this in early pregnancy and gone on to have a full term pregnancy? I really don't want to see my GP, I feel that my body will let me know if all is not right. There seems to be many people on here who go to GP and they send you for bloods and scans that sometimes leave you more confused that you were in the first place, not sure I could put myself through that turmoil! It's a bit of a minefield, such an exciting and scary time!
Sorry to hear about your worries. I had a similar thing at around 6-7 weeks. Over the course of 10 days, a few times I got a pink or brown mucousy discharge. I then lost my main preggers symptoms seemingly overnight (nausea and tiredness) so was VERY worried. A scan showed all was fine, the OB said there was a "small amount of blood outside the placenta but nothing to worry about" - it just looked like a darkish area within the uterus above the cervix. Anyway it didn't happen again and subsequent scan at 12 weeks showed now problems.

i had beeding on and off for 3 weeks from 5 weeks to 8 weeks pregnant, i cried all day and night as it didnt go away! got my bloods done and they kept rising! lo and behold we are having our baby on monday! dont give up!
I had bleeding like you describe with both pregnancies. I now have two beautiful girls. Very scary when it first happens. Mine went on for about a week at 6-7 weeks. I was told it was probably blood from implantation which is totally normal. I had no cramping or anything. Just keep an eye on it but it sounds pretty normal. good luck with everything :-)
I had it too, bang on 6 weeks. Thought I was starting to MC until I checked my "what to expect" then saw some of the similar experiences in the Forums. It passed (lasted basically one night) and all is well. Try not to stress - I know its hard!
Same thing happened here with this one, on and off spotting until 11 weeks, unnerving but a couple of blood tests and scans showed everything was all ok! Hope yours is just the same
