There is a strong heartbeat!!!! I was feeling so emotional and a little choked up too, and then I kept it together until I read all the posts on here today now Im blubbering, thanks so much for all you well wishes it must have been you guys that helped with the good news.
I have the sonographer confused too, she kept frowning when I was telling her all the info about me and my bizaar hormones and pregnancy dramas.
There is a strong heartbeat and everything looks normal, we could see movement and arms and legs and a jaw and brain, so great, but there was a small area of blood but she said it could be nothing to worry about, only I thought it cant be good if I am now on clexane, so Im making an appointment with the OB and just sticking to him from now on. Im sure the other docs meant well but if they arent aware that hormones are supposed to dwindle off at 11 weeks then I think I want to be with the OB instead. He isnt happy about the clexane so not sure if he will want me to come off it or is it too late? Once you start you probably have to keep going.
You have no idea how much it meant to me to see all of the lovely posts and well wishes on here when I got back from the scan thankyou so so so much.

Stickybaby - wonderful news about the scan and lovely heartbeat! Good luck with getting the information and reassurance you now need from your Ob. Ask for regular scans if you think that will help.

I am so relieved, thankyou so much! I forgot to mention that the measurements were 3 days smaller than the previous scans but the sonographer wasnt too concerned about 3 days, if it was more then maybe she would worry. Also bub had their head down a little and she said that can throw the measurement out a little.

That's fantastic news. I was so fearful for you reading through the early part of your post as in my successful pregnancy the HCG was over 74,000 at 6 weeks and your results were so much lower. Then I got to today and there was the great news. It just goes to show that it's very difficult to determine things from HCG levels.

I wish you a happy, healthy & more than anything an uneventful pregnancy from this day on.

I think what I did just then wasnt very good, I called the GP first to ask should I continue with the clexane considering the bleed and she said yes, then I called the OB (at the hospital) without asking the GP if that was OK, just to ask him wheather I should go ahead with the injections considering the bleed and the midwife dobbed me in and called the GP that has been seeing me and asked their permission first! ooops, how embarrasing, isnt she a cow for doing that. They are all obviously a tight knit little group arent they.
He said to go ahead with them so Im happy. Was that a really naughty thing to do??
I have to look after myself and the baby. My Mum cracked it and said that it was wrong to do that.

I'd trust the Ob more than the GP, the Ob is the specialist. Good luck sweetie, I will continue to lurk here to watch your baby grow!

I don't get it, what did she have to ask the GP's permission for??
Who cares what they think I say, so long as you get the answers you need and you can relax!!
