my partner & i went out a couple of weeks ago. I had no idea i was preg (period not due at that time)...I had a few too many beverages than usual (not a big drinker anyway). I spent two days in bed vomiting and tired. I was the brunt of every bad hangover joke for two weeks until we realised we are expecting!

I used "PRECISE" tester; u can test 4 days early. Maybe try that one. generally the tests are v accurate these days. also, pardon my ignorance but i dont know what AF is so i hope i have related correctly to ur query.

hi everyone. I think I am about 5 weeks & 6 days (6 weeks tomorrow). I really don't have many symptoms. I am a bit tired, emtional, crampy and have bigger/sore boobs, but that is it. Bit worried, should I be feeling more. I know this is totally irrational... but I guess I am nor worried... what if I am not really pregnant. You think I could just be happy?!!
Hi, i am currently 4 weeks 2 days and i have got sore boobs, off food, and cups of tea are gross. I have been getting really tired and sometimes feel so weak like ive been partying for few days.... crying for no reall reason and snappy too then the next minute im laughing at the TV...
Kama - i did like 10 pregnancy test (stupid i know) but i was in denial...... all were positive with different degrees of darkness..... i ended up doing a digital one that said PREGNANT.. i havnt done another one since......LOL ...

Well symptoms to date are bloated, headaches, feel "blah" (you know, kind of nauseas), tired, irritable, big sore b's, and running to the loo every five minutes. Only 6 weeks and 5days into preg, sometimes still pinching myself that it's real.

I am now 9 weeks pregnant and feel very reassured after reading alot of the symptoms you ladies have been having. I have started reading a highly recommended pregnancy book and it does explain alot of symptoms you can expect but I find actually hearing that others are experiencing the same as me at the same time is making me feel a little more comfortable. I have also been getting the sensations that I am about to get my period but just in the last couple of days I have been getting sharp little pangs?? Has anyone else felt these?? They come and go very quickly.
Woohoo, i can come in here again. Im a bit lucky atm cause im just tired and hungry all the time. Every now and then i get a blah feeling but thats about it. Hope it stays like this.
YAY!!!! I will officially be 12 weeks tomorrow!! Had my first ultrasound last Thursday...little sweetheart was 171bpm and 4.05cm long. Nausea had disappeared but still getting the good ole tired pangs.
I am 6 weeks PG and the only symptons i have had is very light Nausea (no vomiting thank god), being short of breath and light cramping in my left hand side. My OB did an ultrasound when I when to him to have it confirmed to make sure everything was ok and that was at 5 weeks due to my past with cervical cancer. we are having another ultrasound on 1st december.

I am 7 weeks and 2 days pg and haven't had many symptoms at the moment. The normal ones I am having are:
Tired from about 8-9pm
Sore BBs - but only when I am not wearing a bra....so nightime is really bad
Weeing a lot more at night time, but don't really notice it during the day
My nails are so strong and are growing without breaking which is a difference for me as they always break!
Mood Swings
Nausea in the morning, then when I eat I feel better
I can eat a lot more at dinner time
A lot more CM
Dry skin
My face broke out in pimples at the start, now its so lovely!!! And that is without using Proactive every day. Usually if I don't use this everyday I break out!!
The strangest symptom I am having is (sorry TMI) I do No. 2's more times during the day!!! Weird?????
Mine are the symptoms mentioned in the first thread except that I did not have headaches, morning sickness and spotting.
Hi Ladies, With my first I did nothing but throw up from conception to birth... Not a pretty pregnancy but a beautiful girl. I had no symptoms for my second but suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks. Third nausea a little at first, bled a little then settled in for an excellent hardly eventful pregnancy. This time I have had sore boobs from day dot and feel queezy all the time (no vomitting like the first thanks goodness) and I have a slightly distended uterus that is a little tender. Oh and the one common thing I suffered massive weight gain due to fluid retention was common on all of my previous pregnancies. Yuk..... I tried everything to make sure it didn't happen but its just one of my things I guess. :-) Cheers Tracey
Well apart from having boobs like watermelons, and oh so sore... I thought I was going to have it easy... BUT I am know into my 8th week, and the last few days the nausea, dizziness and tiredness has hit me like a tonne of bricks. just in time for Christmas. :frown:

Hi, just wondering if someone might be able to help me out.... I am one week overdue for my period, so I did a home pregnancy test but it came up negative.... Looking through the symptoms of pregnancy though I came across a few I have had... Head aches, Extremely Tired, Dizziness, Bright Yellow Urine, Very Bloated, Stitch like pain on my left side, Clear/white fluid stuff... Has anyone ever had a negative response with a home pregnancy test and actually been pregnant?

Hi, a question for those ladies who experience morning sickness ... does it occur every single day or does it come and go? I've had it for about a week now (I'm week 6) but today I've felt ok.
Hi, got my blood test results today and it was positive. Very low HCG level. At the moment I have very dark brown spotting and period type pain. I have another blood test today and monday but am worried that I may be miscarriaging. Is the spotting, especially the color, something anyone else has had.
could the strong coloured yellow pee be from the prenatal vitamins ? What is not used by the body is excreeted.

I'm new here, but am seeking for reassurance. Lately, I've been experiencing ongoing mild abdominal cramps (nothing severe), but just bothersome. Also, the bachache is not helping... I'm 6 weeks pregnant, I got all my blood tests done (last hcg level was 15735 at 5 weeks)... everything seems fine according to my obstetrician... This is my first pregnancy, and I've been waiting for this miracle to happen, but am so afraid that these symptoms should be worrisome... Please help!

I'm new to but just wanted to give some of my pg symptoms which I did not think would happen sooooooooo early.
7DPO - pimple break out on face (I might get one pimple every 6 months so I should have thought something was up).
10DPO on - needing to pee all the time & not a lot there!
My sense of smell is amazing atm & I am only 14dpo, felt quite sick this arvo too.
From 12DPO - feeling like I'm going to get af.
I get a little tired at times but I'm finding that I'm actually having really bad night's sleep, but that could be because I'm so excited & can't believe I'm pg!
Can't wait to see what the rest of the pg has in store for me, it truely is a miracle isn't it.

The whole boob thing is weird. I've migrated from an A cup to a B cup in 13 weeks.
My mum is a DD so I'm freaking out that I'll gain a permanent cleavage enhancement.
Nothing wrong with that, but I just won't know what to do with them. :)
I'm also getting a bit dumb. I washed my hands with toothpaste the other night, and yesterday I turned the hot tap on full and put my hands straight under it. I think being so tired is taking it's toll on my judgement :doh:
I'm loving the boob thing, I'm only 10 weeks and I'm bulging from my bras - and I just spent $80 on a new bra, probably when I was about 3 days pregnant.
Pity I'm the only one handling them!!!
And one more thing, my poo has been really dark - black even - I started noticing after I found out I was pregnant. Does anyoneelse have that?:redface:
Sorry to add more to this topic for those of you not into poo discussions :) but I agree - there definitely is an excremental (if that's a word) change.
The only way I can describe the poo change is that I find it's not my own smell - like someone elses. It's really weird - it smells so terrible that I find it embarrassing and it grosses me out. :redface:
It really adds to the feeling of having some 'unseen force' taking over your body which is how I would describe the first trimester. he he
So glad someone else got the funnypuuz! Thank god I can't smell mine! That would be really wierd. Although I'm a pretty good farter - I wonder if THEY will change smell. They seem pretty regular now but . . . wierd!
Anyway, the new one for today is itchy nipples. Oh yay:rolleyes:

Just read the poo thing and its sooooo true. It stinks!! And Uncle the itchy nipple thing is true too. This is my first pg and i cannot believe how much i eat, drink, wee and poo. I know its gross but my DH cant believe my body is so gassy. :cryinglaugh:
My boobs have grown but no major thing they are just very sore at night and when i am not wearing a bra.
Is anyone getting the 2-3 hour nausea. I seem to get it in the afternoon just after lunch. It is the strangest feeling and there is no controlling it. Does anyone else feel this way? I sound like i should be :boohoo: .

Well, I got over the sickness and now I've got terrible wrist /hand pains - especially at night. I'm only 13 weeks but I think it's probably carpal tunnel syndrome. I have really skinny wrists (so skinny I have to buy kids watches) so I think the swelling might have reached it's limit already. Oooch.
Anyone else had any luck with acupuncture as relief for this? I work in IT so this is really not good news. :cry:
Anyway, I shouldn't really be typing this as it's making it worse ...

Yeah, I have bad tennis elbo but my last job where I used them a lot, finished a week ago and my left elbow, just the left, is still going crazy. I find it hard to sleep at night, and the sensetive boobs are so not helping, think I may need to go get a massage for my arms and neck
Noobie - maybe get a carper tunnel splint from the chemists as I found that helped me heaps when I was pg with DS. My carper tunnel would wake me up during the night & felt like my hand was going to fall off & this made it much better. The splints can be pricey ($50) but if you are in a private health fund they may give you a rebate. As soon as DS was born mine went away!!
I have been nauseated almost 24 hours except one or two hours in the late AM and 1-2 hrs in the evening. I vomit, I dry heave I'm dizzy. I haven't eatten food in days. I've been able to drink V-8 juice, apple juice, PEPPERMINT TEA !, and pickled vegetables. I have found the peppermint tea and sucking on lemons to help. I can't even look at a cracker (salada) or gingerale and that was my breakfast & lunch & supper. I've tried alot of procedures in fertility to get where I am so I'm so happy to be pregnant. It is just hard to feel so weak and even nauseated by turning in bed. I sleep a ton ! At least I'm not nauseated when I sleep only when I wake up. Now I haven't taken my prenatal vitamins in a couple of days but I have taken a multi-vitamin and folic acid. Today I have a fish oil taste in my mouth !!!! Too much !! I have been taking Blackmores prenatals which have fish oil but it has been days since I was able to down such a large pill. I'm so exhausted. I'm about 6 wks 7 days and my hcg numbers were high so multiples is a possibility. I have barely left the house, and taking a shower is a big deal for me. I just want to enjoy my pregnancy and I worry about stories of women who have this for the full pregnancy !! Women are just so strong. But right now i feel so weak.

For about a week now I have been getting pins & needles around my lower back & right side of my tummy. Occaisionally it moves up the right side of my body to my right breast & surrounds. It seems to be happening more often now.

Hi Meg, my name is kylie, i just joined and have been reading your posts, i am about 4 and a half weeks pregnant, i think?? and this is my first, it took almost a year and clomiphene tabs to concieve and i am thrilled but sooooo worried about mis carrying, i too had period pain type symptoms, back ache and cramping and was very worried but have also been told its very normal, so i think we will be fine, i am just desperate now to get to 12 weeks so i can relax and know my bub wil be fine. i can add the snoring and bright yellow wee already hehehe.

I had 2 laproscopic surgeries, one 5 yrs ago and the other 2 yrs ago and suspected I was pregnant due to the "pulling" like feeling from inside my belly button. Doctor assured me it was ok though.
I am 6 weeks preganat, when is the morning sickness most likely to hit? I didnt even know I was pregnant untill 11 weeks last pregnancy.:cryinglaugh:
