    reflux help - Alan, anyone

    Please help me!
I have suffered from reflux, indigestion whatever you want to call it since about week 7 & I have just about had it.

I have only been eating very plain food to control it which has been a help but I am finding now it seems to be getting worse.

I am not seeing my spec. for another 4 wks & was going to ask him what I could take but I can't wait any longer.

I phoned his receptionist today & she said mylanta would be fine & I'm assuming she would know & the chemist told me the same thing but I just wanted to see if anyone else knew if this was ok.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes mylanta is fine, but you might find something like Gaviscon more effective. It's ok in pregnancy too.

I find Mylanta works well for me and yes you are allowed to take it. Hope it gets better for you soon!
