I think it depends on the clinic and your health care provider. I had my bloods taken a week before my scan and the doctor went through my results straight after my scan. I literally left the ultrasound room and went into the next room and he gave us the results. It was great! My OB went through them briefly again at my next appointment but I had brilliant results so there was nothing to discuss really.
Jen - let us know your good results when you get them. Remy is doing great, gorgeous little girl - 10 months old, nearly 1 !! I'm going to be pretty busy come Christmas time, but in for a penny in for a pound !! How are you going!?
I had my bloods a week before the NT and got the result on the spot. Sonographer did the test but other than saying all looking good she didn't give me any specifics. We then went in to the next room and spoke to the Doctor who went into the detail which was all good.
Regarding the comment about NT coming in at 2.5-3 being a concern I don't know what is considered to be a "good"measurement or not. Ours was 1.98 and our risk rating came in at 2000:1 - not bad considering that I started off in the 50:1 category because of my age. Neither the sonographer, doctor and my OB mentioned it as being high in fact they all said it was fine.
