Doc suspects TWINS!!

Little history... I have twins on both sides of the family, and my 3rd baby was a twin, and I lost one at 6 wks.

Today, I had VERY high blood pressure, and have NEVER had it before.
My uterus is very large for only 4 weeks...
I have had very bad naseua since before AF was late...

My doc is sus and sending me for an early ultrasound, and a HGC level check on Monday... The blood pressure thing worried him, and said it is an early indicator going from my history of low blood pressure...

So what do you think?? Just coincidence, or are these good signs??

What will I do with twins?? 7 kidlets!!!

I went and visited my friends 6 week old (but 0 weeks corrected age) twins yesterday and they were so beautiful! You will love it I am sure! I will look forward to seeing the result of the ultrasound!

Ultrsound on the 22nd May..... which is pretty fast up here, you need to book about a month ahead unless its an emergency...

At least I have Kanes double breast pump... i'll be able to b/f both no worries hopefully !!

But seriously, what are the chanced of it being twins just by what the doctor says?? Do they really have an idea??

Jodie, the doctor told mum she had twins from her HCG levels... she didn't believe him and almost "fell off her chair" when she actually saw it on the ultrasound...

You're definately one person that could handle twins (alongside 5 other kiddies!).

Dunno about the possibilities.... sometimes I think drs have to 'warn' you just in case IYKWIM, but you never know

Jodie, I would say wait for the u/s, nothing is definite yet. But wow if it is LOL!! I agree that you will cope fine, but that will leave you will an odd number so you'll have to have another ROFL!! Soon you will have not only your own basketball team, but your own football team too!!!

Gosh I could nearly have any team I wanted!!

At the moment I'm just putting it down to it being my 6th baby, nothing more. What will be, will be. Adam just laughed when i rang him and read out the ultrasound request form!! He said he'd love lots of babies to play and cuddle, but he gets to go off to work each day!! isn't he funny!!

only 2 weeks....As long as there is one little healthy bubba, i'll be happy... 2 will just be a wonderful (and hard!) blessing!!!

My Dr could tell by my HCG level before they did the scan, so you should have a better idea after your bloods on Monday!
