    showing earlier??

Is it true that you start to show earlier the more kids you have???
I've heard this but wasn't sure if it was right or not.

With some people this is true, it can also depend on how far part they are... The closer the gap, generally the quicker you show. But as with anything to do with pregnancy, it all depends on bubs!
A friend of mine showed ealiest with her 1st than with her two other preg's, but was still an early shower everytime.

Umm I think I showed earlier with my first pregnancy to be honest!! With the others, they have all been so close so I probably already had a pot belly and didn't really notice it. Whereas with DS I noticed at 6 weeks that I had a pot belly that wasn't there before, was harder than it had been and there was a definite lump!! I only noticed at around 14 weeks with Miss M that it was a definite lump in between the layers of fat.. haha

This one I was already fat from Miss M's pregnancy that I didn't lose any weight from, so you couldn't really tell that I was pregnant. Bloody can now though

Lol well I was a bit underweight when I fell pg with DD1 so I started showing pretty early on. I didn't lose all the baby weight so I was nearly ready to pop with DD2 before people started with the, 'Oh heeeyyy, you're pregnant!!'... I guess everybody thought I was just stacking it on and didn't want to say anything for fear of being rude

So yeah, I think it depends on the baby, the gap between kids, how much weight you put on/lose with/after pregnancy... but generally yeah I've found people tend to show a bit earlier with subsequent pregnancies if they've lost the baby weight before falling pregnant again

I did. I felt like I had a big belly by the time I was only about 8-10wks. But by the time DS was born I was HUUUGE so maybe he was just a big bub the whole pg, lol!

I was slightly underweight with the girls, but very tall. I didn't start showing til 5.5 months. (Just looked like I was getting fat at 6 months, lol)
I started showing a week or 2 earlier with DS, but I was a bit bigger with him. And looked pregnant. Not like I was just putting on weight around my belly, lol. Carried completely different. Alot lower & out more. The girls were high & hiding, lol.
I think its all about your body shape more than anything, & your muscle tone between babies helps. I was alot fitter when pregnant with the girls. I was pretty unfit with DS had put on about 10 kgs since DD2.

I'm still carrying around a "baby bump" from my last birth 9 months ago to the point I was having to tell people that I wasnt pregnant. So now that I am I suspect I will "show" sooner especially as my tummy has just given up.

Think it really depends on you, body shape etc. I am very small, didn't show any earlier this time around, but am bigger now at 26wks then what I was with DS...was just looking at pics.

It was true for me - I was showing enough for people to be congratulating me before I was even 4 weeks pg!! I didn't even know I was pg yet!! But then DS1 was only 11 months when I conceived DS2 so I think having the pgs so close together contributed. Also I was showing by about 6 weeks with DS1 - I have a very short torso so there's not much room to hide a pg!!!
