Sorry in advance, need some reassurance...maybe

    Hi girls,
My advance apology is because I posted a similar question about 3 weeks ago but I just want to see if anybody is in a similar boat to me or if anyone knows if this is normal.

I'm now 9 weeks pregnant and still have NO symptoms. If I hadnt had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago I wouldnt even believe I'm pregnant. I've felt v slightly naseous and a small bit tired a few times but other than that nothing (well apart from more frequent trips to the loo), no appetite changes, sore boobs or change in size, no bloating, constipation, moodiness, no vomiting....nothing.

I'm sure those of you that are suffering are wondering why I'm complaining but I'm really worried that I'm not producing enough hormones or something?

I do have quite an insensitive body anyway in that I generally don't suffer from pms symptoms like my friends do, and I seem to cope better with colds etc than them. Maybe thats it but I'm just so worried that there is something going wrong. I did ask the doctor a couple of weeks ago and she said it would probably come eventually but i'm now 9 weeks and still nothing at all.

Sorry to go on about it......anybody gone through the first trimester with nothing??

Last pregnancy absolutely I was right there with ya!! I was constantly saying to my belly buddies that there must be wrong because I felt nothing. This time I'm not quite up to 9 weeks yet, but the only issues I've been having are tiredness & sore boobs (something I didn't get last time).

Rest assured, you're probably just one of the lucky ones Very very hard to do though I know!

Well, some people get mega symptoms, so I suppose there has to be people on the other end of the scale...you know, perhaps go and have a look at the Belly belly symptoms list (it's either a sticky here, or a bellybelly article...or both?). I did that my first pregnancy when I thought I didn't have many symptoms, and then reading the list I was realising there were symptoms that I hadn't really thought about, like increased cervical mucous or increased sense of smell.

That's great that you've already had a scan though, that must have been a great relief to see.

Don't worry hun, I never had ms and the only way I knew I was pg was because the ultrasound said so. My boobs started hurting later, hurt a lot, but before the us - nothing
Congrats and Hope you have a wonderfull healthy pg!!

Thanks girls, its good to know that I'm not the only one! Its just a bit worrying when so many people seem to have so many symptoms and I'm experiencing none! I guess I'll just enjoy it while I can and hope for the best!

    I felt EXACTLY like you!

I was so worried and wanted some sort of symptom just to reassure me. I think when its your first you expect the norm...feeling tired, sick, sore etc...

I just felt 'too' normal if that makes sense. Try not to worry and just think, you have a scan in 3 weeks time Enjoy it as it is very exciting!!

I have had no symptoms at all - no m/s, no sore boobs........nothing! It if wasn't for the early scans I wouldn't have believed I was pg. Some people just don't get them.

    ~Hi Sweetie

I didn't even realise I was pg until 8w, symptoms didn't happen! DH and I reckoned the latest I would have realised was when the kicking started; I wouldn't have bought an HPT, that's how un-preg I felt. I did a blood test to check for hormone disorders instead! (You can read my pg journal ifyou really want to laugh at me about it.)

I am exactly the same. No M/S, no nothing !!! It made me really anxious and in need of reassurance. However I have just had my 19 week scan and everything is going well. Try not to worry too much, everything will be fine.

With all my 5 kids and 5 pregnancies I had no symptoms at all throughout the whole pregnancy. Now preg with my 6th and I have about 3/4 of the symptoms.

Try not to worry, everything should be fine. Start looking forward to the time when baby starts to kick.

I am 9 weeks and apart from sore boobs and tiredness I've been fine. Also I know 3 girls all at 12-14 weeks now who have had nothing either - we must be a lucky batch of ladies I think!!
I am very thankful that I am well - I can't stand nausea and have been dreading it and am only now starting to relax about the fact that I may not get it!
    Good luck!
