sorry really need to vent!!

did a pregnancy test about a week ago came up positive so i went and got blood tests ect, did a few tests a few days later, came up negative, so i was REALLY waiting on this blood test to say yes or no...
doc rang back (indian i could hardly bloody understand) n hes like yes yes all is fine and normal... & im like so im preg then... and hes like oh oh i didnt test for pregnancy cuz u said u did a test and it was positive, so i skitzed right out at him, said i needed it for confirmation obviously ect so he said he was going to ring them back and get a preg test on the blood they already have but i wont have results till the end of the day...
im SOOO angry right now havent slept much in 2 days and now i have to wait another whole day just cuz the doc is $#^%head! like why else did i go to the docs for!!?
going to ring back the surgery and complain in a min when i have calmed down a bit, halfway between bursting into tears and punching a wall atm..

both my pregnancys they didnt do a pregnancy blood test either for the same reason as your dr.
it isnt unusual for them not to test if you did get a positive urine test unless you specifically ask for a PT or HCG level.

Usually it only takes an hour to get the results on a blood test so i dont see why you can ring back sooner.

oh really!? thats weird cuz positives arent always postives :S rare but yer...
just rang back the surgery and told the ladies what the go was and she said they rang the lab and they are doing the tests now, said they prob wont have results till the end of the day but to ring back at about 2pm...

yep good - keep ringing as it is a simple test and should be def done by 2!

i guess they figure you are preg so why test lol!
sometimes these dr's need a little nudge!

please try not to stress - take DS for a nice lunch out and relax until 2. stress will not help your body right now

thats what i though PinkPalace, said that to her and shes like, oh depends what the result is bla bla...
i was sure i was preg too but after getting a few negatives im worried it might have been a chemical pregnancy...
thanks might take him to the playground or something if the weather holds up...

ohh i know laura its really playing with my head, worst feeling ever!! i cant beleive he didnt even test for pregnancy, like what, was i just expected to book in for antinatel appointments without even knowing im pregnant for sure... omg...

thanks! yer so does my doc but i couldnt get in to see him for about another week... so thought something this simple could be done by another doc but obviously not lol...
trying to think of something to do, but not much i can do!
will update as soon as i know...

Hi hun.
I've never actually had a BT to confirm pregnancy. Only ever the POAS at home. My gp told me they are accurate enough these days.
I did have the HCG test done with DS, but that was because my ms changed dramatically at about 10 weeks & he wanted to make sure my levels were ok.
