Just thought I would put in an update. On Wednesday (28/12/11) I woke up in a lot of pain, so my husband took me over to emergency at our local hospital and I had emergency scans which showed the ectopic had not dissolved. It had stopped growing though. And on top of that I had a 5cm cyst on EACH ovary. So unfortunately I lost my left tube and they drained the cysts. The laparoscopy was nowhere near as scary as I imagined. It all happened very quick which I was thankful for. Went to hospital at 7am and was in surgery by 12. Healing well now, glad its all at an end. Now I can try and relax.

I am so sorry you needed surgery. Ectopics are scary. Please take it easy. I was hard on myself, trying to be normal until my ob said to me at the six week check that it's like losing any other major organ. It shocked the body terribly. I wish someone had told me sooner

    Hugs hun
