    Red face Thinking too much!!!

Well - I am now going on 8 weeks!
This is my first pregnancy (abit a short story about how its all happened in 'pregnancy annoucements')

I only found out last Friday - as I had spent the whole week feeling very nauseas! (day and night...)

I have had some cramps here and there, afew pains similar to period pain...
This week I have more abdominal feelings and only nausea when it comes to eating etc?

What am I meant to be feeling? What is normal and what isnt?
One arvo I didnt feel sick at all - sort of panicked and thought something could be wrong.

I spose my biggest fear is a MC... everytime i go to the toilet i check for spotting! aghhh

Does everyone else feel the same way? I just want it to be 12 weeks now!

i check every single time i go to the loo! i fret everytime i feel ok. i fret every twinge. i panic when things seem "normal"

so, i'm guessing it's "normal" - either that, or we're both as neurotic as each other!

Mrs BB - its all perfect;y normal!! I did suffer a M/C and I STILL check for spotting eveytime I go to the loo and im nearly 33 weeks!! The worry comes and goes and you reach more and more milestones. Eveything you are feeling & Thinking is normal and eveyone here would have thought it or felt it at some stage!!
    Good luck on your journey!!

Yep it's normal to worry and I still check for blood. The one thing I have learnt is (and this is hard ) is to just let go. What will be will be during pregnancy. You will experience alot of different types of pain. If they're bearable I would think they're normal. you can often find (eg belly belly) out if the pain is normal at that time during pregnancy. But due to the constant growth it is common to have pulling, cramping pains on and off all through.

My last pregnancy I worried myself SICK. This time the thing that stopped it was me finding my old preggy posts on here and seeing how WORRIED I was and knowing it couldn't be healthy. Maybe it was embarrassment, but I haven't worried since. I let the pains come, I let them go. If though you are concerned, talk to your pregnancy carer. But just remember how much growth is going on and that it is going to cause different feelings and sensations.

Best of luck for a healthy and happy pregnancy and CONGRATULATIONS!! XO

    Hi Mrs BB!

    Welcome and congrats

I agree - totally normal - even myself, with no prior history of loss or problems I worry, and check everytime i go to the loo. I too have just had to 'let go' .. like webbmegg said ... LOTS of changes and growing is happening inside you now, so it's to be expected you'll feel funny, but again if worried, ring your doctor.

good luck, wishing you a h and h pregancy. x

    Mrs BB,
Yep and you know the checking every time you go to the loo doesn't stop. I still do it every single time. As for being sick. I was only sick for about 3 weeks at around the 6-8week mark. i only chucked twice (because I was stubborn and convinced myself that I wasn't sick so didn't have to throw up). Then it went away and that scared me also. Thought something was wrong with the baby. But at the 12 wek scan which I was so excited and scared about all my worries were gone when we got to see our little alien baby doing just fine in there.

Its hard cause you don't feel the baby yet and you may not even look pregnant yet. try not to worry and just think positive and touch your tummy and talk to your baby. They can feel your positive thoughts by now and this is a great way to pass the time as you wait out for the 12 weeks. Funny isn't it that the 2 week wait seems so long but then you have to wait 12 weeks and that is shear torture!

    Congratulations mummy!

Unfortunately the worrying doesn't stop!! It's just a case of not letting the worries get bigger than the happiness and joy.

The cramping/aches/pains etc. come and go. Some days you will feel totally 'normal' and others you will feel like hell! Just take it as it comes and trust your bodies and instincts. If ever in doubt, contact your MW/GP/OB - no questions are unimportant.

All the best with your pregnancies
