Hi,

I am tentatively pregnant (10DPO) after trying for so very long after we lost our little one last year... It's been such a hard road!

My GP has had me on Nilstat oral tablets and vaginal cream for recurrent thrush over the past week (we've been thinking this may have been hindering the conception process). However, now I'm (hopefully, so very hopefully) pregnant again, I'm not wanting to risk loosing another baby because of a drug... The thrush is not causing me major discomfort, it's just always there (and in my gut I suppose - hence the tablets)

I'm not a drug person and avoid as many toxins as I can in pregnancy (didn't even take panadol!), especially in the 1st trimester. However, I phoned the Mother Safe hotline (for preg & BF mums) and they said Nilstat was fine - but she also said it was fine to take Diflucan! (which doesn't sit at ALL well with me!), so maybe not the best person to get advice from.

Does anyone have any advice, because I'm feeling a bit confused...?
