time frame for scans

i know i should remember but when is the ideal time to have scans?
as in between 11 and 13 weeks? or 12-13?
then again in second trimester when is the ideal time weeks wise

From what i understand, the best time for the NT scan (if you have it) is about 12 weeks.

The next one after that is at about 18 weeks.

Between 11 and 14 weeks for the NT scan (that was the policy at my imaging place). Ideally 12 weeks, but there is a bit of leeway. Not sure about just a normal development scan, I assume the same but not 100% sure.

And between 18-22 weeks for the morphology scan. I was told under no circumstances before 18 weeks, and preferrably around 19-20 weeks.

Yep, down here the 18wk scan is now a 20 wk scan.... I was told if you want the NT scan, the closer to 12 wk exactly the better...

It does depend Jols, 12 weeks is pretty standard for the NT I think - but the place I go to says that anything from 18-20 is fine for the morphology one, so it might just be best to check. They will probably tell you when you book in anyway!!! I know the place I go to doesn't require a full bladder whereas some others do!! Go figure!!!! I just realised how close to Valentines Day you are due!!Awww how exciting hun! Good luck with it all!
