    Have a chat with your 4yr old about keeping the baby safe so she needs to be gentle with you. She should understand at this age. As the others said, her rough housing with you wont harm your baby but teaching her about gentle play now might help when the baby is born

    The baby is safe in there - at this stage the uterus is still snuggly tucked into the pelvic area and is quite thick in comparison to the tiny little dust sized speckling growing inside you!

    That said, you'll want to encourage her to start being gentle as I'm sure it's uncomfortable and it's going to be a lot more uncomfortable once you start to get bigger. Hopefully once you tell her about the baby, she'll understand about being gentle and keeping the baby safe.
