    Default Upset stomach

Everything I read says you should expect constipation during pregnancy...however I am having the opposite!

My GP did tests but I don't think they will find anything!

It's making it hard to eat lots of healthy fruit and veggies!

Has anyone else experienced this??? (I am only 4 and a bit weeks pregnant)

Oh yeh Marion I hear you! I'm nearly 6 weeks and since I was about 4 weeks I've had constant loose bowel movements. Never had this with Gemma so its been quite weird!

Yeah I'm finding that my bowels are a little dramatic - all or nothing!
I'll, erm, back up a little, then eat some beans, like in mexican food, and then look out!

I suppose at least I should be thankful that I know how to fix the problem of constipation?

i am at the nine week stage and am not interested in food at all, only eating to make myself go to the toilet. So many things that would help constipation normally (like eating nachos) just going into the kitchen, so many smells turn my stomach now. Even coffee - that i normally love!

I am a very ocassional drinker normally, but now i am off alcohol 100%, i can't but think, how ironic, half a glass of beer or a latte would normally un-constipate me - but no way would i drink any alcohol or caffeine now i'm pregnant.

It seems quite a cycle - not eating cos you feel nauseous - lack of food makes you feel weak and constipated -

It has settled down a bit...had a stomach bug too which didn't help!

    Being sick more now though!

Still keep reading about the constipation you are supposed to get and how you should eat lots of fibre...fibre scares me just now!!!
