i found a safer version of Vicks, made by simmons, same people who make the paw paw nappy balm. Could only get it online, not sold IRL where i live, but one tub lasts such a long time, the $6 postage was worth it. i think i found it on organicsaustraliaonline, or some name like that.

I've always used it, usually on my hand and then slept with my hand near my nose.

    You could always try
a vapouriser (being a grown-up, you can move your nose closer to the steam at times too),
Saline nasal spray (I think you can use the other sort for maybe 3 days, the bottle usually says to check with a doc/pharmacist first though),
And gargling with saltwater (really surprisingly effective!), to clear mucous that harbours bacteria.

    Get well soon!

I would avoid anything with camphor in it if it has to be applied directly to skin. I am with Tashy on this - get yourself a vapourizer and use the Euky in that. You can also take plain Herron or Panadol too x x

I emailed Bosistos & got this response

Euky Bearub is suitable for use during pregnancy. There are no reported contra-indications in the literature in relation to pregnant women and we have not received any reports of skin sensitivity to the product. It is gentle on most sensitive skin and can be used by the whole family. If you do have any specific sensitivities or concerns we recommend you contact your health care professional.
I only wanted to put it on my feet. My chest is fine it's just a nasty cough & everyone reccomends putting it on your feet with socks so I thought it worth a try.

And thank you guys xx The big announcement will be in the next few days as long as all goes well with the ultrasound.
