    You shouldn't take suplements for it, too much is a bad thing whilst pregnant (this is one of the differences between normal mult vitimins and pregnancy multi vitimins). However, most people will still be getting enough in their regular diets for it to continue doing the good things it does (they are just warning mums to be off taking extra).

    Okay - so i've bought breakfast juice with vitamin a all good? im also taking a pregnancy supplement which has no vitamin a so should equal out?

    If it were me I wouldn't buy/eat any foods with added vitamin A, especially in early pregnancy. Also avoid offal (especially liver) as it is too high in Vitamin A for a pregnant woman.
