The pains sound normal, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
Sounds like your uterus growing around your baby.

The pain definately sounds normal.
I am not too sure about your cervix question though; sorry!

Oooooh yeah, I remember that pain. My whole first trimester felt like I was getting my period, with lots of cramping, especially on the left.

Thats absolutely normal to get cramping in your first trimester and your cervix sounds fine too, it will take shape the more your baby grows

I'm only 4 weeks and I'm cramping too! As far as I've been told by people who have been past this stage, everything is normal! I guess it's just a waiting game till the end of the trimester! Good luck on your pregnancy!

yep perfectly normal i had the cramps right up to 16 weeks

Congrats on the pregnancy and I agree that cramping is all normal. Mine were always worse towards the end of the day when I was more tired.
