    What's Happening To Me?

    Hi Ladies,

So I have heard the usual - nausea, period like cramps, cravings and general discomfort. But what else is normal in the first 12 weeks?

I have had some sharp pains, some sleeplessness, some mood swings which I think are relativley normal but then I wonder if other things that are happening are phantom. I feel like things are starting to move in there but surely it is still too early???

I am almost 5 weeks along, not telling people is killing me but otherwise I think I am doing well. Not painting rooms or picking names - just making sure we get safley to 12 weeks. But at the same time I am wondering what it should all feel like. I don't get a lot of time to browse the net so I was wondering if you could help me out with some information direct from experience.

Does anyone else wondering if things are in their head and they are just getting over excited? I am generally an emotional person anyway but this is just bizzare.

    Excited, nervous, happy, scared.

    Jess

    Everyone has different symptoms.
What you have described sounds normal. Have you been to a GP? That's probably the best thing to do, and they can do some further tests and answer any questions that you may have.

all sounds normal to me. Even though it's very early your uterus would be contracting to accommodate the baby. I have lots of muscle pains/stretching feelings from early on.

Jess have you joined the march belly buddies group? It would be good to be able to compare your symptoms with others at the same stage

Thank you ladies, I feel a little more normal.

I will join the March belly babies group. Thank you for that advice.
