I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and my doc has told me I can book my first scan anywhere from 8 weeks on. Personally try to hold out as long a possible as you will get to see more the later you go. I know it is hard but it will also make it easier as the time frame between scans will not be too far apart if you can hold off. I am going to do my best to hold off till at least 9 to 10 weeks - will see how I go. (on another note - try not to push too much with your pregancy as it will just make it take longer to get to that 40th week mark - stay strong, you will get there soon).
