i havent really had it and i'm nearly 14 weeks. i had a couple days of really bad nausea about 6-7 weeks but it was mostly when i was in the car. i've also felt a bit queasy when i'm hungry. thats about it.

    Thanks for your replies girls

I think for me it is a case of be careful what you wish for haha. I was actually wishing for more ms mostly for the reassurance that I really was pregnant (and also because I've heard there is some anecdotal evidence that you get more ms with a girl) and now my ms has kicked in itself for sure. Since just before 6 weeks - no throwing up, but definitely some waves of grossness! Ah well, bring it on

I threw up the morning after my BFP. Thought it was way too early as I was only 4 weeks, and thought that it may have been due to a dodgy take away the night before (but no-one else was sick!) Have been feeling sick ever since and I am now six weeks.

I am at work and just opened my drawer containing tea bags and coffee by mistake and wanted to spew- Will have to get rid of them I went off tea and coffee during my last preg - but not this early on, and didnt really get MS last time either.

Much to my horror mine kicked in at 6 weeks, at least 8 times a day (usually 12, eased off by 20 weeks where I was throwing up about 4-6 times a day), finally stopped at 35 weeks. DD born at 38 weeks 4 days. Although this is known as hyperemisis and isnt as common as the usual morning sickness. Havent been sick for about 2 months now

entreat - goodluck for your scan today!

canary - my ms is much more full-on and kicked in earlier this time too. Maybe we are both in for little girls this time???

lily - that sounds awful you poor thing - makes me feel like a big whinger for all the complaining I have been doing! Must be such a relief now.

Thanks everyone else for their responses.

Scan was brilliant! I may have had MS today... really icky feeling & nearly passed out. But I was watching the vet stitch my horse back together after a really nasty accident, so it may have been that too...

If I get sick tomorrow, then I'll know! Fingers crossed.

Hi I am so happy to see all is going well for you!!! me i always have some very mild waves from the word go, which is usually what makes me test, but really kicks in at about 8 weeks lasting to around 14 weeks, this time it has crept back but I think mainly when i am tired which is often Me pregnant with girls, i have guessed girl each time as MS is much milder than with my son,as long as I keep eating I'm okay, pity about the weight gain!!!

Please dont feel like a whinger, feeling sick or seedy at anytime is crappy! You're right though, it is such a relief but I also got the most beautiful treasure at the end of it all!

I didn't get any morning sickness or heartburn or swelling or anything with my first. Murphy's law will probably mean I get them all in full force next time lol. Only thing was that I had to eat when I felt hungry - straight away (in the early part).

With my DS I had bad M/S from 6-13 weeks.

With this PG I started feeling sick around 5DPO which got a little worse each day until a few days ago i felt so sick i could barely function (I'm just shy of 6 weeks). I finally started meds today which thankfully have me feeling more like my old self again.

First time around it lasted from 7 to 14 weeks and I felt constantly sick 24/7.
This time it started at 8 weeks and lasted until 16 weeks but was not so bad. I actually had some days where I felt OK

    Hi!
I have been pretty lucky in regard to ms I'd like to think... only really felt queasy/dizzy if I hadn't eaten for a couple of hours and my sugars were falling, and other than that it has been extreme fatigue.... that was until last week! Haven't vomited yet, but I have been soo close the last week, few times a day, and at the weirdest things - i.e. the smell of body wash
But I have been lucky 'cos I can eat, A LOT, with an aversion to only a few things.
Hope it gets better for those who are getting the full brunt of it
    Take care

Belle - our due dates are almost the same! In fact, I think my Ob has down the 17th for me now, but I am sticking to the 16th.

I am just rereading this thread now to see when people mention that their morning sickness STOPPED!!! Omg, I can't believe this is what I was asking for! Totally punished!!! I am 12 weeks today and as far as I can tell it appears to be ramping up rather than diminishing. Arrrrrgh!!
