    When did your symptoms start?

I'm 5 weeks 5 days today and I've hardly had any symptoms. Earlier today I felt a bit nauseas but it only lasted an hour then went away after I ate something. The only real symptoms I've been having is some very mild cramping which I've put down to stretching pains but these only last a few minutes and I'm more tired than usual. I've given up on watching any movie at night because as soon as 6.30 comes around my eyes feel like they're about to fall out of their sockets.

Are there any other ladies on here that didn't have symptoms straight away and if so how many weeks were you when you started to get them? My Mum keeps telling me that she never had much ms with any of the 3 of us and all the pregnancy books tell me I should count myself lucky.

I guess it would just be nice to feel ms so that this pg feels more real.

I hope you dont get ms!! Mine started bang on 7 weeks and is still hanging around although more in the form of food aversion rather than vomiting ( the last few weeks). I had sore bbs, I was really tired so what you are describing sounds all good to me!

Hey Hun, with this pregnancy I felt about the same as you at around 5 weeks. I actually felt pretty great and I was also worried.

Once I hit 7 weeks to the day though, I had horrible MS. I would feel nauseous and then vomit mostly at night.
Then by 10 weeks all MS had dissapeared!
I do agree with your mum and say that some people just don't get bad MS!

I literally had symptoms the day after my embryo transfer (sounds ridiculous I know, but true!!) and after that they just kept getting more noticeable

I didn't get any morning sickness with either pregnancy. My symptoms included bigger boobs, metallic taste in mouth and extreme tiredness from about 8 weeks. Up to that point I didn't feel pregnant at all.

With this and my last pg from about 4 weeks. By the time I was 7 weeks I was so sick I'd lost 6 kilos

With my first pg no symptoms until about 6 weeks then more normal manageable ms.
With my second pg I had no symptoms at all, wouldn't have known I was pg until my belly finally popped out at around 5 months.

Try not to worry just because you don't have symptoms doesn't mean all is not well xx

I was really emotional and hungry. Sore bbs and ms kicked in bang on six weeks.

Everyone is different hon, try not to worry. I do know that feeling if wanting something physical to make it more real. I looked at my BFPs a million times a day and then once the nausea kicked in, hello reminder!

Congrats - hang in there - and hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

I found out I was pg at about 6w, when I was concerned my period was late and did a test. I then retrospectively applied symptoms: tiredness, sore breasts ONCE for TWO SECONDS!, getting out of breath easily... threw up at 10w pg, then after some dodgy food (raw onion) twice, then once at 20w.

TBH, if I didn't track my cycle and didn't do a test, the first symptom I would have had was feeling a bit fat, then seeing a kick. A proper "ooh, there's a little spike an inch long coming out that stomach". I didn't get a pg belly until about 25w (in my eyes: friends told me I just looked a bit fat rather than pg), and it took until term before people realised I was pg: I had work colleagues who didn't know asking me why I was leaving when I was in my third trimester! And in normal clothes all the way through.

Oh, the sciatica didn't help me. But that went away when I wore 4" heels, which I would have been wearing anyway had I not known I was pg, so that wouldn't have actually been any help.

I didn't have symptoms til 7 weeks or so, then they really made up for lost time! Quite normal I think, they will probably start soon enough! I got morning sickness and tender bbs to begin with, and extreme tiredness. I started having 2 beroccas each morning in a pump bottle, it did wonders for my morning sickness (B vitamins are meant to help). Good luck and congrats

My symptoms started around 6 weeks with both my girls. Horrible morning sickness (24/7 nausea) until 15-16 weeks.

Hopefully you get off Scott free. MS is bloody awful

Star, congrats on your pregnancy. I hope you get the "nice" preg. symptoms, and maybe just a short bout of MS, if that will make you feel more pregnant! i had REALLY sore breasts from only a few weeks pregnant, needed a maternity bra virtually entire pregnancy, when i had assumed you would only buy one of those in 3rd trimester. Everyone is different, but the super tiredness early on, does sound familiar. Hope you have a great pregnancy hon.

With my first and second pg I felt instantly nauseous and had the sorest boobs on the planet. The next two were chems, but I remember feeling queasy and a bit off for a few days even after the bleeding started.

This time, I feel pretty normal. I'm working hard not to obsess over how not sick I feel. I'm 5w5d today. I have had a few waves of nausea but nothing intense, just a general dizzy and blergh feeling which passes very quickly. Boobs are sore but nothing spectacular. The only real symptoms I've had so far are extreme tiredness, and mild cramping and bloating. I'm not sure if I'm so exhausted because this time I have a toddler to chase around, and a stressful job........ or if it's pregnancy tiredness. All the same, I wake up every morning feeling like I've been up all night! Getting dressed for work makes me want to cry because I'm so damn exhausted. Oh wait, there's another symptom.... emotional! I have to hold back the tears at really stupid moments. I even got into an argument with a coworker yesterday because of his smart mouth, and my inability to control my emotions! We were besties for a while there but now I just want to punch him. Is 'punchiness' a symptom?

Thanks for all the supportive and helpful replies ladies

It seems I've spoken too soon about having no ms because now I have it! The very next morning after posting this I had my first feeling of ms and even as I sit here now I'm feeling pretty dodgy. This is definitely not a fun feeling but I finally got what I was waiting for. It started smack bam 5 weeks 5 days. And my energy levels have just dropped so much I'm soooo tired. In fact bed sounds really good to me right now.

I can now say I officially FEEL pregnant!

Three cheers for morning sickness! Hope you keep on enjoying it I must admit, I loved mine. Probably because it was so rare.

On the up side, the tiredness can vanish in the second trimester, which isn't that far away now.
