When will I start showing?? :/

    Hi there.
I am currently going on 12 weeks pregnant (3 months)
And I havent really started showing as of yet.
Its getting me worried that somethings happened and im not pregnant anymore (as silly as that sounds)

I have put on a little weight around my gut, but its clearly just a fat tummy from me eating heaps lately.

I havent got a skinny nor fat frame, Im 177 cms tall and weigh 84 kilos.
So im not sure when it will be noticable that im getting my pregnant tummy.

Im just dying to get my little baby bump

    hey first time mummy!

Having the belly is just beautiful, when it comes you'll love every bit of it!!
With DD i was about your weight, bit shorter though, i started 'kinda' showing around 16 weeks (just a tiny bump that if you didn't know i was preg you wouldn't have thought anything of it), but it was definately noticeable at 20 - a little round pot belly!

Sounds like forever i know, i was in your boat and wishing it to hurry up. But the time really does fly by. Won't be long!

With my first pregnancy I didn't really start showing till I was about 22 weeks, I could tell but I don't think anyone else could! I know how you feel about being worried, I was exactly the same! I think it was when I felt the baby moving that I really started to relax and not worry, which for me was also around 22 weeks, which seems on the later side, I think many people feel movement much earlier! Enjoy your pregnancy it's over way too fast!

    It is different for everyboy!

At 16 weeks I had the tiniest of extra bump in my lower belly but there was no way anyone could tell I was pregnant.

I did not "pop" until WELL into the 2nd trimester...and even now people say my belly is small!

Me and my partner didn't tell anyone about our pregnancy and nobody noticed until I was about 5-6 months along!

When I was pg with DD, I was at work standing next to my boss (who I hadn't told about my pregnancy yet) when a customer said to me " Ohhh, when are you due??"...... I was 12 weeks!! I am quite skinny though so it is very obvious on me (50kg 161cm). This time around, one of the mum's at school noticed my little pot belly at 5 weeks!!!! There is definately only one in there though but at first i was worried it might be twins! So I am on the other side of the spectrum and was showing early when I wasn't ready to tell the world!!
    Hope you pop out soon!!!

oh, i think im slightly showing.
Im 12 weeks now, and last night, as i was laying on the bed on my back. I felt that i had a little bit of a tummy forming, near my belly button and a little below.
It feels kind of hard, not squishy like fat!!
    could this be it???

Yep that'll be ur uterus forming. It feels hard (don't prod it too much!)

Im quite slim (165cm and WAS 60kg) and didn't start showing til about 24 weeks, and even then it was only ppl who knew I was pg who could tell. Its only since about 30 weeks that strangers have noticed, and only in the last 1 or 2 weeks that ppl actually ask when im due instead of "really? Your pg?"....and im 37 weeks.

I know you can't wait to get a belly, I couldn't wait, but man your back will be sore and you'll be wishing in a few months that it was smaller!!!

I wouldn't worry... before you know it you'll have a lovley baby bump which you (& everybody else) will be able to admire. I know all about the long wait for the baby bump that makes it all feel "real". With DD I didn't start showing until 27 weeks!!! I would cry when I was out with my girlfriend who was due 2 days before me & people would congratulate her & ask her when she was due etc & not acknowlege me at all

BUT with DS I was showing quite early.

All pregnancies are different so no-one could guess when you will start to show, but I do hope it happens as soon as possible for you... if only to put your mind at ease

Enjoy your pregnancy, it may feel like it's dragging right now, but believe me it will be over before you know it. Of course then you'll have your gorgeous little bub to hold in your arms
