I'm surprised you had to book that kind of scan. When I had an early scan to check on bleeding I could just turn up as they didn't do appointments. I can't remember which chain it was but I think it was Gribbles or Dorevitch.

Best of luck with the scan. Try to think some positive thoughts. I know how hard it is. When I had mine done they wouldn't tell me anything and wouldn't let me see the screen and I had to wait to see the doctor - I was so sure that all was not well & ended up in tears whilst paying. All was well though.

Good on you hun for not caving into rescheduling. I have found that they always make excuses to reschedule ppl that just arent true.
I had a phone call this morning from the antenatal clinic to reschedule my appointment from Monday to Tuesday and I said no I cant do that as I have work commitments. I then said to her I could come in today or tomorrow and then she said no thats fine we will just leave it for Monday (I got off the phone thinking if she was just going to leave it then why in the world was she ringing to reschedule???)
Hope you dont have to wait too long this arvo hun. Thinking positive thoughts for you.

    120.

That's how many beats per minute my baby's heart is going.

It measures perfectly consistently with last week's dates, and there is no evidence of free fluid within the uterus. There is no subchorionic haemorrhage and the cervix is not dilated at all. I am going to ask for a pap smear and perhaps more investigation of my cervix tomorrow, but from the ultrasound, I have a perfectly normal, healthy gestation of six weeks three days. I don't know what is causing the bleeding.

Now I'm going to have a little sob. Thank you all for holding my hand today. I get my blood test results tomorrow. I know this isn't a guarantee that things will be okay, but it is a great comfort and made me realise that no matter how difficult it is to be pregnant again, all those issues are my issues and I will love this child regardless.

Oh yay! Your initial post brought back so many memories of my wait between scans. I was so pleased to hear that your outcome was better than mine (with my first, all's well with this one). Great news. Fantastic ticker!
