    Worried...

I got my bfp last week....

I had pains and spotting on sat night and Sunday morning was raced to my local hospital. They gave me an anti d injection. But... They didn't have radiology working on Sunday so decided to transfer me by ambulance to a specialist hospital that had equipment and staff.

Got there and My hcg levels on Sunday morning were 895. They did a scan as well and it showed a small gestational sac.

Well I had a repeat scan and blood test done yesterday and they seen a bigger sac, no fetal pole, no yolk sac, no baby/heartbeat but it only measured that I was 4w5d preg. Before the scan i was spotting brown blood. Yesterday I should have measured at 5w1d. My hcg level yesterday morning was 2020. So has doubled in 48 hours.

Anyway I woke up this morning and went to the loo, and had dark reddish/and browny spotting and slight cramps.

Should I be worried? because I am. So worried that this bub is not a sticky. I've gotten so attached to it already!

hoping that little bub is just playing games with you

It's very natural to be worried but there is just as much chance everything is fine.

Lots of sticky vibes your way.

Hang in there sweet, the fact that hcg is still increasing is a promising sign, sometimes the dates on ultrasounds can be a bit wacky (mine varies with every scan I have) but I definitely have everything crossed that it all works out ok for you.

LynsDan, when I was pg with DS2 I had spotting/light bleeding on and off over 2-3 weeks. I didn't know at the time I was pg - I thought I was about to get AF back after having DS1. I found out I was pg just after 6w - and I still had some spotting for the next 3-4 weeks. Only mild, but a bit unsettling. Anyway - just wanted to let you know that we had a good outcome and I truly hope you have a sticky bub and a good outcome too. I recall feeling a bit crampy early on when pg with DS1 (not DS2), so I think that's not uncommon either.
    All the best, xx

Hon you would not see enything on an ultrasound at 5 weeks and as far as measuring behind it could have taken a little longer for your egg to implant.

Good luck I have everything crossed for you.

I wouldn't worry. Your LMP date was May 13 (according to your posts in the clomid thread) so that makes the US dates spot on (yesterday would have been day 32 which is four and a half weeks). And, as the other girls said, bleeding and cramping is very normal. I am sure everything is okay. Best of luck though.

The fact your HCG has gone up so much is a great sign and it would be common not to see anything at this early gestation. I am praying your bub is a sticky, I know how hard it is not to worry.. Just put your feet up. xx

My clinic doesn't do us before your hcg reaches at least 6000 - they don't expect to see a heartbeat before then. Rising levels sound great - I'll keep everything crossed for you!

My gp referred me to a obstetrics gynecologist. He charges a fortune, but I get to see him tomorrow. Fingers crossed he can give me some hope too! I'm trying to think positive. My gp has put me on bed rest for the next few days. Hmmm fun! I hope bub stays put! Hubby leaves for work tomorrow.

Thinking of you Lysndan, I know how scary it can be. When I miscarried I had only 2 tiny spots but when I had my daughter I had lots of spotting, so with me I got a daughter from more bleeding if that makes sense!
Sending you heaps of sticky vibes xx

Thanks everyone! Bub is safe at the moment. My hcg more than doubled and progesterone is at 55!

    phew!

Still spotting, but only brown and very light only when I wipe. Not cramping as much. Phew!

Thanks for your well wishes and sticky vibes! Xx
