    Question Would you go back?

I am seriously over this bleeding! It started at 5w3d roughly as just brown spotting i freaked out went to the hospital at 5w6d when it started to get heavy all was good told it would stop in a few days. The blood then turned bright red so at 6w2d i was back at the ED. This time i was told i had an UTI and blood pooled in my something cavity and reassured again all was ok.

I am now 7w3d and i am now passing clots filling a pad everyday sometimes when i pee the water has blood in it, its like a heavy AF but i am having zero cramping... only a twinge here and there but nothing thats got me toppled over in pain which i am expecting any day now.

My question is would you go back again for another opinion or ride it out?

No harm in going back, and better to put you mind at ease, even though waiting around in the ED is a pain in the behind

DP doesnt want to go to the ED because it will be another 8 hours wasted.. i am so upset i don't know what to do. Hes saying be positive listen to the doctor but what if the doctor is wrong?? I am supposed to start work at 2 so if im calling in sick i need to give reasonable amount of time. I just dont want to get to work and be crippled with pain or have a big bleed. Argh i hate this!!

Why don't you ring the hospital and see what they say???

FWIW - Unless your DP is the one carrying the baby, I wouldnt listen to him.

I'd take the day off & go in. Leave DP at home if you need too, with DD.

Call in sick regardless of whether you are going to the hospital.

And if DP thinks it a waste of time, go on your own if you want to get it checked.

If you go to the hospital, make sure you get a medical certificate. There is nothing work can say or do if you have a certificate...

Have you had a scan yet? Either way i would be asking for one on the spot. Hope your bubba is still safe.

N2L - Good point i will be sure to get one. But i have always said to work that my family comes first then work and if they sack me then i have a good case on them but they are reasonably ok, my line manager is awesome i can tell him anything and he understands.

danni- I have had 2 so far. One the first time where they found i have a septate uterus and the second to be sure that bub is still ok. I just know how quickly it can turn around which is why i am so worried especially with the bleeding and passing clots and things.

If there are any radiology places open maybe you can go to a medical centre and get a referral from a GP for an U/S so you don't have to spend all day in hospital waiting.. Otherwise go to the hospital..

I went to my doctors then got referred to the hospital.

the doctor i saw at the hospital was very helpful. i found out that i have blood in my endometerial cavity so one side of my uterus is where the baby is and the other has blood. i have an ultrasound on tuesday to see if its getting better and the baby is ok.
