I have been doing an IVF stim cycle and got a positive HPT this morning. I am 10 DPT or 15 DPO and my HCG is 41. The clinic is a little concerned that this is a little low and would like it between 50-60. I'm just looking for anyones stories who had similar or lower levels that went on to a BFP and having a healthy pregnancy.. Panicking just a little bit..
Fingers crossed for you! This pg came in as 50 at 14dpo, so only slightly higher than yours. Do you know what your progesterone was? If it's fairly high that will be a good sign - how long until your next bt? Hope your levels keep going up!
My progesterone level was 36.. I think that is ok but clinic wants me to stay on the Crinone until Thursday when i have my next BT and then go on to pessaries.. Is that Prog ok???
i didnt use ivf but yes i had low hcg at first bt. 12dpo it was 19. was told it was probably not a viable pregnancy and given the amount of pain i was in they thought it was ectopic. however all was well. the second bt came back low too at 341 a couple of weeks later but the third came back super high over 7000 about a week after the second bt. so yes been in the same situation. its early days yet so try not to stress too much it could just be that its so early
That is such a great help Jen82.. It has really made me feel like i'm pregnant and staying that way.. Good luck with TTC #2... I hope it comes easily..

Hun, congrats on your pg and I wouldn't worry just yet. A GF of mine had fairly low numbers from memory and had a healthy pg. Just a bit slow to begin with! GL hun and I've got everything crossed for you
congrats on your pregnancy. I didn't do IVF but I had a mean nurse give me my results over the phone. I was about 4 weeks (so may 15DPO or close to) and hadn't told my DH as i wanted the BT results to confirm it for me first and the nurse said my HCG level was 66. And I asked am I pregnant can I tell my DH and she said 'Its low, I wouldnt.' But up hers because I have a beautiful baby boy now
Are you going in for another BT to test your HCG amount in a couple of days?? After my 66 they made me take another BT 2-3 days later and it had doubled like it was supposed to so once you see it growing like that you do start to feel much more relaxed and confident. GL!!

KittyK - Great story.. I'm so glad things worked out for you.. It's awful when the nurses aren't helpful.. I am really lucky with the nurses at my clinic.. I think the lady who rang me to tell me my levels were low was more upset than I was..

On that note though we do have spotting this morning (well maybe a little heavier than spotting) but just trying to stay positive and hold on until tomorrow..

Thanks everyone for your support, Unfortunately we are no longer PG.. BT showed HCG going down and AF has arrived.. I'm okay with it all as I have 2 frosties and hopefully one of those will hang around.. Thanks Ladies.. You're all lovely..
