    *A Sticky Situation* (wink wink)

    Hello all in BellyBelly!
I was here almost two years ago when I was pregnant with DD and now my fiance and I are pregnant again with our 2nd. We are getting married February 19th, 2011 and this baby-to-be was sort of planned and sort of not (long story). We wanted one and then tried once and then after that one time decided maybe we should wait a little bit more towards the wedding..well...that one time worked. I am due (by my calculation) sometime early in September. So my question is this. We want to wait until after the wedding to tell everyone because by then I will be out of the 1st trimester and have a history of miscarriages. So how do we tell people after the wedding without making it seem like we were embarressed about it because we were not married? I will be 12 weeks along and hoping I wont show too much...This is really stressing me out..thanks

I'd tell everyone at the wedding, maybe during the speeches! that way it just looks like you were saving it for the occassion, rather than embarassed.

I don't think people would think you were embarrassed. Most people know about the 12 week rule and besides, you weren't married when you had DD1...
Congrats on your new pregnancy and upcoming wedding x

oohh i do like the idea of a wedding announcement!!

but i agree with a PP that most people know that alot of ppl wait until 12 weeks to announce...so i dont believe that they will think that you were embarrassed by it...that's what i reckon anyway!

(BTW early September is the BEST time to have babies...check out my sig LOL!).

Congratulations on both your pregnancy and your wedding. Just another idea, if you dont want to tell people at the wedding, maybe when you sent out thank you cards you could mention it in that.
