It will happen. I am on to number 3 - felt the first one around 16 weeks, 2nd was around 14 weeks and then this one didn't do anything that I was certain was more than farts until about 21 weeks. I currently have a little foot trying to push its way out the top of my belly.

I am pg with #2 and felt this one later than DS (almost 2 weeks later closer to 20-21 weeks). My placenta is anterior this time and I'm also about 8kg heavier pre-pg than I as pre-pg with DS. I found it annoying that many people/books say you are 'supposed to feel baby earlier' but if you google it you will find that many people actually don't. Dark choc used to get DS going so I tried that but this bub likes/responds to completely different foods. Good luck, I know it's hard not to worry, I did but am sure bub is fine.

Bah, silly people and those "shoulds" - try not to worry hun, feeling movement can depend on all sorts of crazy things like position of the placenta, position of bub and whether you're even paying attention at the right time or not

It'll happen in time, and soon enough you'll be begging them to quieten down or at least stop using your bladder as a trampoline/tapdancing at midnight/head-butting your cervix *grin*

Maybe you have an anterior placenta this time? I didn't feel my first till 21 weeks and then it was like "Oh gawd give me a break!"

i didn't feel movement with #2 till around 21-23 weeks. The placenta was on the front so it was harder to feel

With the previous 3 pregnancies I had felt movement very early (between 12 -14weeks). This time round, fourth pregnancy, I didn't feel any movements until after 18weeks! Freaked me out too. Figured I must have had an anterior placenta this time or something - but no, aparently the placenta is posterior just like the other time. So no idea why I didn't feel anything for so long.

I have an anterior placenta and haven't felt anything yet (20 weeks tomorrow). I had my ultrasound on Fri (which was very reassuring!) and was told that I probably wouldn't feel anything - not sure if that meant for a couple more weeks or longer! Anyway, like cranky kitten said - forget the 'shoulds', what's normal for you in this pregnancy is probably just different to last time

I felt my first move at around 21-22 weeks but with DS I only started feeling movement at 24 weeks. I didn't have an anterior placenta either but just didn't feel anything early on! I am sure bub will be kicking away and keeping you awake before long!!
