Yas - fluid retention is no fun hey!! Do you think that you will retain fluid again this pregnancy because you did the first time?? I think the only way to minimise fluid retention is by walking and being active..

StrawberryFields - congrats on the twins!! I think that if you are concerned about your weight gain now, you will be able to control it more when the twins are growing. And its great that you are thinking about it now. with my first I only really became concerned about half way through and by then, I had already blown out.

All the best for you rest of your pregnancies

    H Ngala,
I was just like you gaining 20 kgs with my first pregnancy. I overate, I did feel hungry but chose the wrong foods. I usually would not touch McDonalds but I did eat that when I was pregnant and very large lunches. I was also quite anxious as I had a few bleeds and I think I turned to food. I'm trying this time not to gain that much weight either so hopefully we'll do it. I'm just going to walk 30 mins a day and watch what I'm eating. I'm very tired already so the thought of a personal trainer seems too much for me. I've also been recommended moderate exercise, no running etc as my ob doesn't think it is good for pregnancy. Best of luck!
