I am sure someone will have better ideas then me but I just wanted to give you a big hug and also say your DD sounds super cute

Perhaps you could go to pumpkin patch or somewhere fancy and get her to pick out the going home outfit and a little toy for him to get her excited? Maybe go through some boys names and get her opinion? Or show her some of the boys toys they could both play with (those ride on tractor things with a scoop look pretty cool imo!)
