Lovey- I totally feel your pain
You are not alone, I find myself feeling the same way quite often....
Not sure how old your kids are, but my 13 yo nephew often bears the brunt of my mood swings- I had a chat with him about helping me to not get so cross.
I explained that he was doing the wrong thing, but because of hormones etc, i was taking it a lot worse than usual.
Don't know if that will work for you
To start with, congrats on expecting a girl!that will be a nice change after having 4 boys!!
I am expecting my 2nd boy who is due in 4 weeks time. And this pregnancy i have had lots of mood swings aswell. I feel like im in the same boat as you...i get overly heated at dp over the smallest of things now. Nothing he is doing is right at the moment! i think its a normal hormonal state to be in as its a natural preperation for you to go through in order to be able to look after a baby. i think it would be different for everyone, as it all depends on yor circumstance. Like you for instance, your house would be very busy and chaotic at times with 4 boys!! gee wiz! so that would make your reaction to the hormones alot more worse, then say a happy newlywed pregnant with a very very wanted child from both families, she would be fussed over and would be very happy etc etc.. you know what im getting at!!
Well my advice, is to try and take some time out to relax and do something you enjoy. My mp3 player with relaxing music and lavender oil x4 drops on pillow in bed works well for me when all i wanna do is throw the tv that dp is watching and scream and yell at him!!!!!!!
I really believe in the healing power of music, it doesnt haveto be relaxation music it can be anyting that makes you feel good and you can tune out and relax!
