DD is 8 (almost 9) and yes she would understand the negative side (one of her teachers last year had a miscarriage and the teachers had a bit of a talk with the kids at school about it, and then left it open to us parents to fill in the blanks ) But Yeah, she would understand not to mention anything.

My pregnancy with DD was smoother than a babies bum LOL

I think it would be awesome to tell her Christmas Day, but just wanted another's opinion
