I fopund childbirth to be a pain different from other pains that hurt (if that makes sense?)
I found each contraction to welcoming as it meant I was that one step closer to meeting my baby, it gave me power, courage & for me at no time did I think I could not cope.

I have severe needle phobia, I'd rather give birth than have a needle, plus hitting your thumb with a hammer doesn't give you anything, yet contractions & childbirth gives you a person only you & your hubby/partner could have ever made!

I am looking forward to childbirth, as it really made me feel on top of the world!!!
