Now this is what I was worried about. I like hard massages too. of course I recognise the need to go lighter around the tummy or even lower back but on my legs and neck I want to feel it.. But then a relaxation massage, rather than a deep tissue might be just as good because my body feels so tense. I am waiting on a call back so I'll ask the masseuse what she thinks. I could just go for half and hour which is $45.
If you go to a 'good' place they will go harder if you request.
I have several during my last pg and i could choose how deep they went.
Someone that is properly certified will know the 'trigger' point areas to avoid with deep tissue massage.

My sister is a myotherapist and did my pg massage when i was pg with DD1 and she went really deep from 12 weeks on...

TBH i prefered the ones with DD2 as i was sore and tired and although it was lighter i felt it had more effect
