If you're getting enough folate from your multi and/or megafol (very cheap) but still need iron, you might want to consider one of the liquid iron tonics like Floradix. They won't make you constipated and seem to give you a boost quite quickly. You slowly increase the dose until your stools change colour (meaning it's going thru unabsorbed) and then you decrease the dose one increment, knowing you're getting enough. This has worked really well for me and some other gals I know (better than iron tablets).

There are so many products out there and so many conflicting opinions that it can get very confusing. Sorry to have added to the quagmire!!
