    Question Bath??

    Evening Ladies,

    I am craving a warm bath - but have been to scared to have one!

    Is it safe to have a bath as long as not to hot??

    Sorry if this is a silly question!!

    i had lots of baths, just no too hot. And no its not a silly qn, i was concerned and asked my ob about it!

    Enjoy your warm bath hun! Nothing better but as you said, keep it warm not hot!!!

    From my experience only its fine to have a bath. Keep the temperature to around 37 degrees an you will be fine. Really hot baths can raise you body temp which isnt good for bubs but if you can keep the temp of the water to body temp a bath can be very theraputic for all sorts of pregnancy ailments as well as being just nice and relaxing.

    After all we do like to use them in labour and women give birth in the bath. I say go for it!!

    Oh i am hanging for a nice warm bath to relax my aching body, problem is we have a tiny thing and im scared ill get stuck...........lol
    Told DH to bring the kids pool inside and fill it with warm water for me to soak in, he just looked at me strange, ah well i can dream

    Oh yes a bath is a luxury you can enjoy whilst pg - I'm guilty of having mine on the hot side...

    I have a bath nearly every day, and now that my belly is so big, it is nice to roll over and the water supports my tummy! A few drops of lavender is very relaxing!
