I think your MIL is caring in her own way maybe?
She is probably trying to keep you settled so she doesn't have to see you in that much pain again iykwim. She could be trying to protect herself from the pain too.
I don't know her, so I could have it wrong, but maybe thats the case?
Anyway, sounds like things are going great!

bjrose - yeah I think thats a big part of everything she says she had a baby born at 23 weeks and has a lot of regrets relating to that baby. That really upsets me she never talks about that baby. She also has no idea where it is buried and I remember her tearing up over NIkita when we were talking about having her cremated and scattering her ashes here on the farm and building a memorial garden. She made a comment through a very choked throat about it being important to have a place to go to remember. It was just the way she said it that really took me back a notch. DH asked me what would I have said if my mother said that - well I would have torn shreds off her

Thanks everyone for sharing my excitment I am so glad I have a great bunch of Gal pals to share this with MIL asked if she could come along for another scan later on I guess she was just so amazed by everything. How can you say no, her eldest daughter had her last two children in Adelaide and her youngest daughter is a looong way off having babies.

I still haven't worked out how to get images from a dvd I am not very cluey like that but I will work out something to introduce you all.

I have been stalking you from afar So glad things are going well for you.. We will be on the TTC journey in the next month or so.. Such a scary thought.. It's like you don't feel as naive anymore I guess.. So glad you are enjoying your pregnancy and getting excited for you little bub!
