Being so hungry ALL the time!! I'm even considering....

Going to make a 3RD, yep a THIRD salad breadroll after I've just eaten two of them!!!! am I a pig???

I'm 15 weeks and starving!!! I haven't put on any weight yet as I've been so ill with nausea 24/7 that I very rarely overeat anyway so I'm not too concerned about putting on too much weight just yet although if I keep eating like this....I think I'll be concerned!!!!!! I'm just really restricted with the foods I can eat as most foods seem to make the nausea worse (yep, still!) so when I do find a food that goes down well, I want to eat heaps LOL

Anyone else wanna share? Even if you're not pregnant haha

Oh Shanti... I was a bit like this early on I ate alot of what I could stomach when I could. I think I've only put on about 4 kgs so far, though now I'm feeling better I find I'm hungry straight away after eating. I make myself wait about 20 minutes to see if my stomach registers with my brain that I've just eaten and if I'm still hungry I eat again - lol! DP's father commented on me "shovelling food into my mouth" the other day - was. not. happy. BUt meh, I don't eat bad food so I figure I just go with what my body tells me.

Oh! And when I wake up to pee, it triggers my hunger too. I haven't started snacking in the wee hours of the morning yet, but am thinking of what foods I can make readily available to sleep-eat when necessary

you're funny LOL not a bad idea though hey!! I have waited nearly 20mins now since the last roll pmsl.....and yep, still hungry

I figure, my body is just making up for what it missed out on in those early weeks as I actually LOST weight originally!!!!! (from vomiting heaps)

Have you been drinking enough? Sometimes your brain can mistake thirst for hunger. But if you're really hungry, then eat. Plus I don't think another salad roll would hurt!!

Oh, yeah, I was crazy hungry in the early days - 14-20 weeks especially. I always had vegie soup in the freezer, I froze it in mugs so it was always ready to go. Winter time too, so it was a nice way to warm up.

At this end though... I never feel like eating. Fruit and nuts, and the odd cracker. Meals, I just can not be bothered.

Ha ha, I was so hungry once when I was pregnant that I burst into tears because I'd finished my dinner! Then I made DH drive over 20 mins so we could get Baskin Robbins icecreams!

Oh and my work mates used to bring in double helpings of their lunch so I could have some LOL! Of course they pretended that they just made too much...and I pretended not to know.

CrazyLady you just reminded me of the time I made a banana cake when I was pregnant. I usually make it with lemon icing and ran out of icing sugar! I cried for hours!

At least if you are hungry - you are filling up on something that is good for you. I think it is worse to ignore that you are hungry and spend the afternoon snacking on less healthy options.

I'm diabetic so still being hungry after my meal is causing all sorts of issues for me - I have to be satisfied filling up on steamed green veggies if I want extra

CheezelMonster! HAHAHA! Sorry laughing because I remember crying over random stuff like that. One night I burnt dinner and it was the end of the world. DP ended up cooking a BBQ because I was too distressed to start over! I got upset after eating the BBQ because he had burnt it too!

LOL nah it's cool! It's funny now, but at the time no one could say icing sugar for days without me breaking down in tears again! Ah memories...

I was like that for bit around 16-18 weeks. I remember one morning I ate 4 pieces of toast, then had a ham and cheese danish thingy from Baker's delight and DH got a quiche from a bakery, I had one bite of his and decided I wanted on of those too!! So I got one and ate that, then an hour later we stopped at macca's (we were travelling) and I had a toasted cheese n tomato sandwhich and a muffin... I was thinking "HOLY crap, am I ever going to stop eating!?!?!" My DH was so shocked because before being pg I was not an eater! LOL... Really, I wasn't, I barely ate... Now near the end of the pg I am not really hungry again, but when I do get hungry I HAVE to eat within like 10 mins because it burns at the back of my throat and it's painful! lol...

You won't be the size of a house at all!! If you are that hungry, bubs must need the extra food! If you are hungry then eat! This is the one time in our lives where we can eat as much as we want without feeling so bad! lol

Hey Ren... I didn't stop eating till I was around 26weeks. I was also hungry all the time. I cranked on the weight but it's eased off in the third trimester. I'll deal with the weight gain after bub is born. Just do your best to eat wholesome foods like wholemeal bread, fruit, veges & lean meats
