Belly Popping! (First Pregnancy)

It is common in the second trimester to really start noticing your belly popping out. Everyone is different - there is no exact formula to popped out bellies!

This poll is for members to vote on when their belly popped out (became blaringly noticable that you are pregnant to the public!) with their FIRST baby. It is common for bellies to pop sooner in subsequent pregnancies as the uterus is already stretched, so to make this more accurate, we are asking for first pregnancies only

It wasn't a huge thing and for all of my pregnancy i fitted into my normal clothes I was often asked where i was hiding the baby.

I hated it until my belly stuck right out. Because being overweight and pregnant when the bump starts to show you are the only one who can notice it LOL so people just assume you are overweight. But then when the bump did start to show, I got "is it twins" nearly all the time :roll: Ohhhhhhhhhh I miss having a bump! I can't wait...I am sooooo clucky!

my belly popped at 4.5 months.. i miss having my bump cant wait till im pregnant again.. almost 2 cycles to go untill we start trying again

It wasnt till I hit 5 months that I finally looked unmistakably preggers. At a midwifes checkup at 18 weeks I remember the midwife telling me I had a really compact little bump, and I felt like I wasnt showing at all. I swear the enormous belly I'm sporting now appeared overnight!

Well this is my first pregnancy in my 18th week. I "popped out" at 4 months exactly. It was on my 18th birthday and i remember thinking, OMG where did that come from?! LOL

My first pregnancy everyone could see my belly at 8 weeks. At 12 weeks I couldn't get my sipper to move at all on my pants.

This time I'm due in mid December but people think I'm due in august 8-[

Hi, I'm new here. I'm in my 19th week and so far no real belly. I am quite wide across the hips and have always been a bigger person so ppl tell me not to worry. I can feel bub move, but to look at me you can't tell I am nearly 5 months along. It's a little disappointing because I want the world to know I am carrying my husbands baby! \/

I think mine 'popped' at about 20 weeks, although I had already put on an extra 17kg by that stage, so it was a bit harder to get the attention off my expanding bum & hips, and onto my tummy!!!!

My belly had different popping stages!1 It popped out at about 20 weeks, then again to a different shape at 30 weeks then it has gone to a beach ball pop from 37 weeks on! I know they are different popping but isnt it weird and wonderful how our bellies change shape??

Not exactly sure when, but I had a bit of a belly since at least 7w. My pants were getting tighter before I even knew I was pg & I found out at 3w 6d!! I had said to Aaron leading up to the BFP that we really have to go on a diet cos my pants were getting too tight

Now at 13w I am not fitting into ANY pants I own at all!

My first baby I didn't show until I was around 5 and a half months> I was so thin and I guess being only 17 at the time I had great ab muscles - held everything in. My 2nd was about 2 months, my third nearly straight away and with this one before I even found out at 4 weeks.
It's going to be a long pregnancy.

It was aeound the 6-7 month mark with my first...Im just one of those people who look fat,til my tummy sticks out and then i just look like im about to pop!!!
Now i am even this far along with this one,i am a bit bigger thanusual,but with my last little girl i was 37 weeks and noone except my friends knew i was pregnant...
i wonder will it be different this time with a boy??

i have just popped, at about 14 weeks on the dot. not a lot, but i am in maternity clothes now as normal are just that little bit too uncomfortable, and i do look pregnant now, \/ for me!

I can't tell if I have technically popped or not! Very hard to tell when I had a big belly to begin with. Will probably have to vote on the poll once I am further along so I know for sure.
I definitely look more preggers now though. My friend reckons my posture has changed to a preggy-woman posture. She quacks behind my back when I walk. So nice of her!
