    Big Belly!!

    Quick question...

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and this is my 3rd pregnancy! My stomach is looking huge but I konw that this is because my stomach muscles have decided to have a holiday!! If I catch myself in the mirror and suck it in a bit then I look considerably smaller but I just read that its not a good idea to do that.... so do I just let it all hang out!? Feels a bit weird not tightening my stomach muscles a bit!??

    Anyone else in this situation!?

    ME!!
Try not to worry about it. With my first pregnancy my bump didn't look "pregnant" til I was 6 months - I LOVE looking preggers earlier this time - after all that is what we are! And it is a pretty amazing factory in there - you are growing a HUMAN after all!
I say let it all hang out

This is my third pregnancy and I swear I got a whole lot bigger a whole lot quicker this time...from the time I was about 8 weeks along, everyone has continually thought I was at least a month-3 months further along than I actually am. Now, at nearly 30 weeks, the growth seems to have slowed a little - I still get the "Gosh you're HUGE!" comments, but I am actually quite normal for this stage now. I say let it poke out and enjoy it

Yep, that was me!!! In fact because of this my fundal height when I was about 30 wks was measuring 36 wks... I went to physio and was given this stuff kinda like tubigrip to wear and try to help support the muscles. I suggest that you try to get into physio (through hossy will be free ) and get onto it before you get too much bigger to try to save you going through what I'm still having to deal with now. When I was around 20ish wks I had terrible burning sensations as the muscles got worse. I am still having to go to physio now and Elijah is almost 4 months old.

Oh yes, I was looking at myself in the mirror thinknig that I look bigger now than I did at prob 20wks with DD! I'm blaming it on the left overs from being pg with DD.
