Saline for snotty noses and guncky eyes.
Panadol/Nurofen (check on the ages when these can be used)
themometre
Infacol (for wind, again check on how early this can be used).
There are lots of others things you can have in there but these are the only ones I ever used.
Infants friend was our savior. Oh, and we had a medicine dispenser with a bottle teat on the end instead of a syringe.
A packet of flat cloth nappies (make awesome chuck rugs)
This is an awesome thread! Wish we'd been this organised because when you need these kinds of things, you NEED them!
I would recommend a saline drops and aspirator kit, nurofen or panadol, some of the Brauer's stuff like Calm or Teething Relief, bandaids, digital thermometer and a vaporiser.
We are getting a baby medical kit that has:
thermometer
snot sucker
medicine spoon
medicine syringe
and something else but can't remember what it is! It's like $27 from K-mart, Target and Big W...
Then we will have sailine drops, children's panadol (but can't be used till 3 months I'm pretty sure), bepanthem, bonjella and some of those baby cotton tips.
