I agree - there's no such thing as the right age gap - you just do what's right for your family or you try and cope the best you can with what life throws you!
I expect you'll find it will be hard work in the early months but there'll be lots of rewarding moments to make up for the tough ones.
Hopefully your family are supportive and can help you out.

In terms of prams - there's actually a few good options out there these days. It depends a lot on your budget of course - but one I have drooled over myself is the 'I-pear' which gives you lots of combos for 2 kids.
