Capsule and Tandem Pram from USA, any body had one?

Recently my DH, DD and I were in Hawaii, as I saw a Graco DuoGlider tandem pram that also has a car capsule that clicks into either of the seats in the pram.

I know her in Australia we currently have the single pram that accommodates a capsule, but currently we don't sell anything that is a double/tandem pram that accommodates a capsule.

My little girl will only be 13 months old when our next is born, so I really want a tandem or double pram, but I also really want to use a capsule this time around, as I didn't with DD and it was the biggest regret I have.

Has anyone used one of these combos or known anyone who has used one of these combos before.

I think I'll have to ring the Ambulance to see if they will fit an overseas capsule into our car.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Mummymel,

The graco Duo glider does come in a tandem i was lookingat this one but have decidd against it as i felt as if i would be pushing a train and it was hard to manouvre around cormers compared to a side by side one.

There are twin prams you can get here with the capsuals as well but you are paying top dollar, not sure how much you want to spend?

Not sure about overseas prams and capsuls but i do know if they are not here it is because they are not to Australian standards/safety regulations so i would advise against it but it is your personal decision at the end of the day!

Good luck, i am still hunting for the perfect twin pram!

Where abouts do you know you can get a twin pram that accomodates a capsule as well? I have looked everywhere!!! I have asked at Babies Galore, and looked on the internet, and both have come to a dead end.
I did see that the duo glider is here, but they don't sell the capsule that hits into it here.
    Any help would be great.
I was also thinking about ringing Graco office to ask them, if they are available here somewhere.
The good thing about the one in America is it is only $360US for everything, the pram & capsule. I was thinking the same about if they don't sell it here, than it must not reach Australian Standards, but I was also just thinking maybe they just aren't available here yet, as I would think that the American standards wouldn't be that far behind the Aussie Standards IYKWIM.

Not sure about the capsule bit on the graco, but i did ring around as i had difficulty in finding the tandem graco and most of the baby stores told me it is not here as not to Australian standards.

Toys r us actually had it in stock and that was the only place in Cairns that had one.

    lOOK AT THIS SITE: http://strollersandprams.com/

I have found this to be very handy thats for sure. It is all a matter of researching on the net and then trying to find one in Aust to look at thats what i have been doing.

I will keep you posted if i find anything.

I did find a Peg Perego pram that is a tandem pram and accomodates a capsule but not sure on the $$. Aparently its only available in Melbourne. Its called Duette SW (19kg)or Tender CSR (13kg) with the Primo Viaggio Car Capsule.
I'm assuming it is $$ as most of the other Peg Perego ranges are. But will keep you posted.
